Irenaeus This seems to be the thesis Chesterton is playing with as he introduces us to Innocent Smith, a man alive. He comes into town like a cool and wild breeze and turns everyone’s lives upside down. This goes on my need-to-re-read list.
The evidence consists of correspondence from people who witnessed or participated in the exploits that led to the charges against Smith. Mar 29, Jesse Broussard rated it it was amazing Recommends it for: Yet when the spirited and mirthful Smith is accused of murder, burglary and unfaithfulness to his wife, it is up the residents of Brighton House to form a court and defend his innocence against the masters of modern science and psychology.

But that is where the relationship immediately goes downhill. The only third thing is to marry yourself— yourself, yourself, yourself—the only companion that is never satisfied— and never satisfactory. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. It’s a philosophical and theological essay.
