No one expects a LM character on foot to be forcing a Terror test on them. This spell even has a bubble effect for further destruction. This means not only do you not need to spend points on the Discipline although it’s cheaper but vastly inferior but it means you’ve always got Magic Resistance 3 and therefore your unit of Temple Guard have it too!
Good things should be exploited until there’s no room back to exploit in. The FAQ allows this to be cast in combat, so it has its uses.
