The fact the Sherman played a key role in the Marine Island assaults is usually not covered very well, but this book does a great job. These books will always have a soft spot for me since I still have all the ones I bought for Christmas and birthday money as a kid in the 80s! Many of these images I had not seen before, and that is the real value of these books.
