Jul 19, Jilly rated it liked it Shelves: Is the problem over? Intelligent with his own dry sense of humor he certainly meets his match in the equally dry and possibly smarter Dagmar. I’ve always loved reading about dragons and that is probably one of the reasons this series appeals to me so much but I also love the family dynamics and the crazy characters this series has introduced us to.
Anwyll turn up dead after her babies born, make her dragon mate Fearghus grieve. This book and this series really crack me up. Last Dragon Standing features a shifting dragoness as well as the shorter story featured in the Supernatural compilation.
But I was surprised to find that he had much more depth than the his character in the previous books would suggest. By the time the readers hit a book number 3 in a series, they have certain expectations. And, like any self-respecting Viking, he’ll stop at nothing to get her.
And I know that this series still the best in term of world building, complexity, romance and steaminess! Four years before, the Earth received its first visitors from space, causing mass fear.
Nor can Gwenvael really blame Dagmar for assuming how he wants to be thanked…and I do dragom how she shocks him…snicker…. Which make me laughing so hard.
Nov 19, Anne rated it really liked it Shelves: Ragnar, along with his cousin and one other brother, retrieve Gwenvael and he escapes with Dagmar, but the poison and torture make it hard for him to focus or fight, which he ultimately has to do when his captors begin their pursuit.

What a Dragon Should Know Book Summary and Study Guide
I’d definitively recommend this book. Now, how he convice Dagmar to accept his, despite his womanizer past? He knew he had the area protected by his hands but Gwenvael still curled on his side, grunting in pain as her foot slammed down on the area near his kidney instead. And who better than a beast to finally tame a mighty dragon’s heart?
Seeing the woman is without socks under her shoes, Dagmar offers up her own spare pair, and the warrior woman gladly accepts. However, with her iron will and sharp tongue, Dagmar really holds her own amongst the warriors. A small demure woman with spectacles and a drab gray dress for her daily ensemble, no one other than her twelve brothers or father sees Dagmar as anything other than a Northland woman that is long overdue for a husband.
For centuries my family has refused to acknowledge my magnificence as well as my innate humility. I loved his upbeat attitude, his jokes, his sluttiness and his loyalty.
Dragons – once creatures of legend – are the enemy. She scanned the room again, counting this time. To be “LOTR meet fill the blank”: I absolutely love this story as there is so much to follow, twists and turns with not only the two main characters of each book in the series, but also the side and past characters. Gwenvael is described as having blonde hair that comes below his knees.

Right from the start the pair recognizes the strengths of the other; never disrespecting the other, even if they do try gga outsmart one another. She should fear him, should be fighting to get away from him, but there was something about the massive male that called to her.
Yet the current debutantes do not appeal. What a Dragon Should Know expands upon the richly entertaining lore of mighty dragons and the humans that love them. So I’m deducting a star. I found myself engrossed and enjoyed just listening to the plot unfold. I do love how deftly she changes the subject…with a clang!
But, like I said, re-read will give you a different perspective. He’s just such a sweet guy and I love that he’s less overbearing than his brothers. In this case, we want outrageous and funny dialogue, crazy bloodthirsty characters, and plenty of dragon sex. Would you like aikwn to take another look at this whqt Mathewson rated it it was amazing.
