Just be aware that automatic color correction tends to change 1000f and skin tones may not be as accurate once scanned as they are on the slide. Well, reflections and the way that light reflects off of a surface deserve more attention. If you like Velvia you may miss the supernatural color saturation, but all in all this is an amazing film that is versatile, and, most importantly, readily available.
My only disappointment isn’t so much with the film as I wish Fujifilm produced this in a format. I’ve used this film out of date by a year and kept refrigerated and I don’t lose any color quality, tonal range remains consistent. There was also purple subjects which appear very nicely as well.
The film is a typical slide film—very saturated, slow, and will give you some absolutely incredible colors and character otherwise difficult to get from digital.
Their content is mostly composed of photographic tips, tutorials, behind the scenes of photoshoots, as well as product reviews. Love it, and even though I’m using the new Portras more and more, when I need to shoot chrome it’s always Provia.
FUJICHROME PROVIA 100F
Previously, I was a loyal Kodachrome 25 and 64 user. I do seem to notice more vignetting that negative film when shot wide open on the same equipment or maybe its my imaginationbut for my purposes it usually enhances the result. That says it all. Fujifilm Provia f 35mm and Formats Fuij any other film though, I adore it in medium format much more than in 35mm.
Update Unrecognized Zip Code. Vivid and Faithful Color Reproduction Extremely satisfying color depiction, providing the most brilliant primaries without sacrificing the delicate pastels, for wide-ranging application. I keep coming back to it because the results are stunning when properly exposed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Timeless With significantly less exposure latitude than color negative film or most digital cameras, color positive film has a timeless look. In most situations, that works just fine. And I really think Provia will be a survivor for long to come.
While the sun is shining brightly in the sky, we hardly sweat at all due to prlvia cool breeze. The film really likes a lot of light and in some situations where I overexposed by around a stop, I sometimes wished I overexposed even more. It’s easily the most versatile film stock I’ve used over the years.
I know some K64 users prlvia be wondering now what to do next with Kodachrome being dropped.

Medium overall contrast and saturation make this film ideal for use in a wide range ufji photographic applications and is especially well-suited for use in product, landscape, nature, portraiture, and fashion photography.
The grain seems more noticeable than kodaks t grain negative films, but only upon pixel peeping. I’m glad Fuji has allowed me to keep on using those wonderful old film cameras with E6 film.
