Along with John, comes his journal from the trenches. John Sewardin the old sanitorium owned kaye Dr. Personal Response I personally liked this book because it’s set during the WW1 era. I think its a good book. When Harker is in England he begins wooing John’s younger sisterLily.

Is it a thrilling action-adventure? The book does start off slow by setting up how the rest of the book is going to be told, its told by the main character sending letters back to his sister. She’s not a Mary Sue; all of the characters are well-defined. The mystery and suspense was drawn b,oodline well, particularly in the latter half of the book, until I was on the edge of my seat and desperate to know how it was all going to end.
Kate Cary grew vary in central England, and now lives in rural Scotland with her husband and young son. The title gave everything away!
Of course, John doesn’t know this, thanks to the fever. Dracula The Brides of Dracula Dracula: When I go developing crushes on fictional characters, it’s because I find them compelling.
Apr 04, Polly rated it did not like it. A second novel, titled Bloodline: It seemed without giving anything away that it didn’t work so well with some of the elements of the original novel. John has to face Harker in order to get his sister back. Return to Book Page. I felt like some of the details could have been fleshed out more, with bloodlind some subtle foreshadowing, nloodline perhaps my missing scenes would have tied it together, instead of leaving me to wonder where this and that had come from.

So pick up the book and start reading! Its creepy, disturbing, and different, but all in all its a good book. As a fun read, it’s blooxline, and I hope Cary gets on the third installment!
Being put through hell and back, it all starts with Kzte Quincy Harker. The plot is hard to understand at times. Oct 22, Iris Nevers rated it really liked it. I did not expect the end such as it was, but that might have been because my copy has a duplicate chunk of pages that was a lot of pages and it seemed to have perhaps jumped a bloodlinr or two when it picked back up after the fact.
Feb 28, Pages Young Adult. I had read Dracula for fun the summer before, and loved it, so It is an unofficial sequel to Bram Stoker ‘s Dracula. One night, Harker takes John on a night raid to destroy a nest of snipers. He declares his eternal love for Mary and claims he has renounced his evil heritage. View all 3 comments. Quincey Harker, heir to Count Dracula? It didn’t help that my brain misread the first kissing scene’s sentence as ‘the closeness of his massive face’ instead of frame.
Mary was a little boring. But where’s the resulting message? Horror novelgothic novel.
I can’t wait to see how this story ends! Mary kills her by pounding a stake through her heart.

John finds out that Harker is a vampire but he found out too late Harker and Lily ran away to get married in Harker’s castle.
