I also found it so funny when Jeff shared Reader and Paul were getting all the compliments in the situation hide spoiler ] As always, I loved all the characters; Jeff he was one of my instant faves from the first book, btw and Kitty, James instant fav, as well! Hoped the only girl with the other annoying guys Cooper was part of was good. But I got a little bogged down with trying to remember all the new character’s names and their roles in the landscape or grand scheme.

So many scenes, so much going on.

I thought to myself, “Well, this is quite bizarre. Kitty is forced to take diplomacy classes, while the others struggle to fit in.

Ghost in the Glass. I loved discovering the varied themes and plots in bits and pieces. As hard as being a perfect little wifey is for Kitty, she and Jeff have both found their feet as parents to little Jamie affectionately known as Jamie-Kat. Armed with only their wits, and dressed to kill, it’s up to Kitty and the Diplomatic Corps to stop the bad guys from unleashing mayhem on all the world’s leaders.

With Jeff, Kitty and Christopher now working in Washington heading up the American Centaurion Diplomatic Corps it has left Reader, Gower and the others to take over the role of hunting down the super-beings.

In small doses, this series is fun. Katherine “Kitty” Katt has gotten used to it. Melanie and Emily are Lorraine and Claudia’s Dazzling moms who keep popping in to help on the medical end of things. But fans should not be deterred or concerned, because Jeff and Kitty are not settling into sedate family life just yet. I have rode this train since the beginning and wow what a ride it has been!

A nice touch, giving Kitty her mom’s support in this; and I did enjoy that bit of “revenge” Kitty got in the end. It feels more as if Koch is getting a bit tired and just couldn’t think of a good twist or she was in a hurry. These books are still outstanding and they’re ones I have and will continue to recommend heartily. Of course, there’s many, many angles and people involved, all of which concern her new alien family and friend So Books one through four have all, but one, been 5 star reviews from me Alien In The Family was 4.

So many that I had a hard time keeping track of exactly who was who. One go with Charles, one with either Len or Kyle — depends diplomay Adriana will chooseAmy was dipomacy in the last book and happily found her mate in Chris, who I was hoping will get a girl and finally now we had Caro. The race is on see if they can unravel the evil-doers plot before everything goes boom.

Sadly, this book was my “meh” book of the series. It kooch takes so long that I forgot about the connection. I was excited when the Earth A-Cs and humans went to Alpha Four and I had hoped they’d go back for a visit in this novel.
